This holiday should really resonate with you Cancer since your ruling planet is the moon and tonight is all about celebrating the night.  If you can’t find an outfit with an actual moon motif, go for a nod to it with a stary pattern instead.  This is a very feminine sign, so a soft, flowy style that shows off your ruling body part, the breasts will make you feel royal.  Add some pearls wherever you can to bring you closer to your water element, and a bold navy accessory to add some color but keep with the moon theme.  Finally, a studded clutch with give some texture to the outfit and is also a nod to your crab sign with a hard exterior.

Cancer Bundled Up

Cancers are a very classy sign, so add some dramatic class to your outfits while running around town in the bitter cold.  Cancers adore ponchos so a cape jacket is perfect for them.  Make sure the most fabric on your body (your jacket in this case) isn’t black since that color can tend to drag down your mood.  However, you do have an affinity for it so add the color in through accessories.  Lighten it up with some champagne colored boots, and a silvery blue crab brooch to show off your sign.  Brooch’s are also great for you since they’re usually fastened on the bosom which your signs rules.

Hello world!

Welcome to my blog!  I’m a fashionista who is also a novice astrologist learning and exploring more about astrology by the day (there’s A LOT to learn, but it’s fun!).  I do a great deal of research for every outfit that I make, but by no means am I an expert (yet).  There are a lot of really great blogs and professional websites out there telling you how to dress for your sun sign, but I’m a visual person and I love putting outfits together, so this blog is a resource for taking all that expert written information and creating looks for people like you and me to easily shop for the right items or find outfits in our closets that match our zodiac sign so we feel our best while we take on the world.

Also be aware that you can take fashion cues from your moon and ascendant signs as well.  If you don’t know what yours are, I highly recommend cafeastrology.com (and no, I’m not paid to endorse them).  Your sun sign rules your soul, your moon sign rules your emotional core, and your ascendant rules the outer “mask” that you show the world.  So they are all very important and you can dress according to all three, especially depending on your mood of the day.  That’s why when people say “I’m a Pisces, but I’m really drawn to the Virgo fashion” you should look at your chart to see if maybe there’s a reason for that.  We are all very complicated beings, and our sun signs are just one (very large) piece to the puzzle that is each of us.  So don’t limit yourself to just your sun sign fashion.

I have two hopes for this blog, that first you will learn some awesome fashion tips and second that you’ll incorporate astrological ideas into your outfits which will help you feel your best from the inside out.
